My mum is as special as pie! ;-) She has completed her chemotherapy treatments on April 30 and is doing extremely well. She did experienced a few bad days where she felt tired, moody and unhappy. But, she managed to get through them and even developed a fighting spirit for life. Today, we visited Dr. Addison, the lung specialist, who reiterated to us that mum had stage 1B lung cancer which carried a 70-90% cure rate after surgery. That means, she has a few more decades of life! That's all we ever hope for is to live long and enjoy a quality of life. Mum is very happy and so are all of us! Pies are special as my mum. ;-) We enjoyed a slice today!
