A salute to all who are mothers AND to those who serve as mother figures, loving and nurturing someone else's life. ;-) That's a picture of my mum visiting me at Ming Yin College, my former school in 2006. When I was living and working in Hong Kong, we talked every weekend via phone, and she made frequent trips to H.K. I appreciated every moment we had at Hong Kong because growing up in a family of 4 kids, the attention wasn't always given to each child individually. To relate to mum as an adult and spend quality time together at H.K. are things that I appreciated and will probably take with me for life.
So, this is the first mother's day back in S.F. in 4 years for me. We have a Saturday evening dinner at Cindy's house, then a Sunday Brunch or picnic (still a little undecided). The weather is gorgeous and mom's feeling 100% well! Wishing everyone an enjoyable and special Mother's Day weekend! ~ Peace!
