afternoon cartoons....

I enjoyed an afternoon of cartoons on Monday and Tuesday with little Carlin. It's her daddy's golden collection of Looney Tunes cartoons - 8 DVDs total. Carlin also introduced me to some new cartoons, like Charlie & Lola, which is quite popular among kids and adults nowadays. I just love listening to the Gaelic Scottish tongue on the brother and sister duo of the show's title. My mom makes fun of me loving cartoons. I don't mind cuz we need to revisit the child in our hearts in order to be better adults. That's my thinking. Nothing is below us, or too far from what makes us better especially young children. They know and live joy naturally.

I watched Looney Tunes when I was a kid. They are a classic! And now Carlin's enjoying them too. My brother-in-law, Brian, is doing much much better. He could start driving again according to his doctor's orders but he still can't lift anything 10 lbs or more, which would include Carlin. Me and my brother are working out on how to assist Susan and Brian. I realize and have always known that a full-time care-taker is an important job. I really commend Brian for doing that for the past 7 years. It's a magnificent feat. My sister sure knows how to pick her partner! ;-)

A classic cartoon that would make anyone feel better instantly is Looney Toon's "Feed the Kitty' episode. Oh, it's so adorable and cute, and among everyone's childhood favorites. I've included it here. Enjoy!
