It was a beautiful morning on this Saturday! A heat wave has converged onto the San Francisco Bay Area with temperatures up to 85F. I met up with my running friends at 8:00am, and some of the the San Francisco Fall Running Group, and went out for a run. Me, Mel, Silvia and Marie did 5 miles out at Ocean Beach into Golden Gate Park. Hot, sunny and muggy. At Golden Gate Park, we ran pass organizers setting up for the 2nd Annual OutLands Festival Concert which started yesterday and will go through this weekend. The line-up for the show include Pearl Jam, Dave Mathews, Black Eyed-Peas whom I like watching, but tickets are about $85usd for one day! That's pretty hefty. so, I think I should pass.
After our run and walk, we sat down at Java Beach Cafe and enjoyed the beautiful morning. I had a sweet cinnamon toast which was delicious! Today's run was a challenging one due to the heat, but it was enjoyable as always.
Living just 1 mile from Golden Gate Park, I could hear music coming on and helicopters flying above. It is one of those hot weekends in San Francisco that only comes in a blue moon, usually at the end of the summer season. That's what makes San Francisco an interesting and unique city! Thanks for reading.
