At about 5:22am this morning, loud thunder and lightning woke me up and I received a text message from Mel that it was best to cancel the 8:00am morning run. I totally agreed with her. The weather had shifted from the summer fog and sunshine to damp, cool temperatures with cloudy, white skies. By 7pm, the sky is already pitch dark, drawing an end to the bright summer season. Though the run is cancelled, we will do a 10-miler next Saturday! Below would have been our running course today: very challenging but doable! ;-)
