Crepe Temptations

A new food shop opened in our neighborhood, just 2 blocks from my mom's house. It's called 'Crepe Temptations' and there's been a lot of great buzz about it especially after the Outside Lands concert at Golden Gate Park a few weeks ago. My sisters and nieces decided to take a short outing and try it out.

The shop was so hectic and busy which was impressive. They serve both savory and sweet crepes. And they use ice cream from Polly Ann's, located next to my former middle school. Polly Ann's have one of the most creative and extensive list of ice cream flavors locally and has been around for 60 years. We tried the strawberry, chocolate and whipped cream crepe. During the wait, we huddled around a window where we could watch our crepes being made. It was really interesting! Crepe orginated from the French and have gained great popularity in the U.S., especially in San Francisco. Each crepe order has to be made individually and they cost about $4-$5 usd. You can stuff the crepe with so many variety of flavors and textures. It's unlimited.

When our crepes were ready, it was huge. It had a light and soft texture, perfectly made. It was delicious. The girls loved it and so did we. We took a sample menu home and hope to go back there another time since it was located so close to my mom's home. I took some photos of our 'crepe' outing. We had fun! Take a look and thanks for visiting!
