Haven't had much time to update this blog due to just a few things to attend to this week:
1) upload recent photos to old computer since the new one is still not reading the camera software. Not sure why??
2) Then save photos onto a USB to upload in my new computer since the old computer is not connected to the internet. Oh no.
3) get a copy of Carter G. Woodson's book 'The Miseducation of the Negro" as the
2nd meeting for the Education Seminar is coming FRI! Agenda is to discuss Woodson's work!
4) shop for TWO friends' babies' celebrations - one baptism and one red egg ginger. hope to get the new purple 'red' envelopes I saw on Irving St. Forgot the difference in design between Chinese New Year and Baby Births. I'll figure that out.
5) shop for a dress for the above event. donated 50% of my clothes when I left Hong Kong! not much left in the closet and haven't gone clothes shopping for almost a year! a little tired of wearing black! ;-) hope to find something nice, colorful and summery, with beautiful flowers!
6) must touch base with The Sunset Neighborhood Beacon Center - still need to pull in 10 hours of service learning!
7) will get those new running shoes by this week at "On The Run" - still have time to break into them before the half-marathon! Keep procrastinating on that!
8) pay next semester's tuition, and determine classes for the Fall...schedule is up, but not complete!
9) must touchbase with Dr. Lee (my advisor) to talk about Thesis Topic & Independent Study with Prof. Andrade
10) must prepare for the 13 miles run on Saturday - 27th! Shop for CHOMPS (blueberry pomegranate ones!), new running shorts (need a spare one), and sunscreen...(all out)..coming THUR for the PASTA PARTY at Sports Basement!
11) Get in touch with a few friends coming back to the Bay Area this month....
Well, I wonder why things are still not slowing down even when school's out.
;-/ ....more photos and updates real soon! Bye now!
