It was 10 years ago that JFK Jr., his wife and his sister-in-law were flying to a cousin's wedding to Martha's Vineyard and then tragedy hit. I still recall that weekend waking up to the horrible news that their plane was missing. I'm not sure why but it really hit me and millions of Americans really hard. First Princess Diana in 1997, and then JFK Jr. who was our country's prince. He had a lot to live up to as part of the Kennedy clan and being born a celebrity. But, what I admired most about JFK Jr. is how much charisma, normalcy, class, and grace he possessed. He wanted to live life on his own terms and I think he did at the end. I always take away from his untimely passing as a heed to live as thoughtfully as possible, and appreciate normalcy no matter what comes and goes in the pendulum of life. At the end, life is always too short, because there's so much to live for. Thanks for reading!
