godparents

My god-parents are in town from Hong Kong. Today, my mom and I met up with them to enjoy lunch at San Francisco's Yuet Lee Restaurant in Chinatown. I haven't seen my godparents since early October 2008. We miss each other much. They are attending a wedding this weekend and flew in with their son Alan, dear elder cousin, and grand-daughter Sophie. I was excited to meet with them. Only Kai-ma and Kai-ye made it up to San Francisco via Cal-train from San Jose. I am always impressed with Kai-ma's knowledge of the Bay Area transportation system. She's a very inspirational woman. I treasure the times we spend with each other. They are a true blessing and I tell them so often. ;-) Everyone should have a god-parent because they are just so special!
