My friends and I went searching for Master Yoda this month. Director George Lucas built an extension of his film company, LucasFilm Ltd. in San Francisco's Presidio, which opened in 2005. Mr. Lucas was given permission to 'revitalize' the former army base which is federal land, by creating employment and architectural aesthetics to attract people to the Presidio. I didn't expect the company to be such a hidden project. In fact, the name 'LucasFilm Ltd.' is never written on any of the multiple buildings, instead it reads, 'Letterman Digital Designs.' Most of all, the area is so beautiful that it's hard to believe people have the great privilege to go to work there everyday! It was a fascinating search for Master Yoda. I knew he was somewhere in the Presidio and I wasn't going to stop until we find him. To the great master we went!
